  We had a blast with Captain Mike and Trevor. There is a good reason we use Captain Mike's charters. The crew is awesome to fish with, they put us on the fish everyday we fished with them. Even when I could hear other boats on the radio were struggling to find fish we had a full box. Captain Mike has been chartering for 35 years, he knows where the fish are. They do full service when you book with them, they clean all your fish when you're done. Can't go wrong with Captain Mike, whether you're very experienced or never fished before. Book with Mike! Started raining several times the day my boyfriend and I went fishing and very windy. Everyone went inside the cabin where there were a few chain smokers. There was a sign stating no smoking allowed inside the cabin but that was ignored and none of the crew cared to enforce it despite children being there. hi im from kazakhstan , help me ,i need travel to here(my english so bad) I have used Captain Mike's Charters for several years now and I would not use anyone else EVER. I did use a company before I started using Captain Mike's Charters and it was a horrible experience. I learned my lesson! Mike's wife works in the office and she is soooooo nice every time we call to book a charter. Mike is a great captain!!!! If you decided to take a charter out of Homer try them they are great! By the way my husband caught a halibut weighting 126 pounds with Captain Mike the 1st time we used him! That was really exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have been out with about 5 different charters out of Homer, AK, and this is one of the best charters we've found. We have gone out on Captain Mike's Charters for at least once each summer for 10 years now. There is a reason we keep using them, as we routinely hear horror stories about other charter services and have always had a great trip out with them. The Wildcat is the larger of the 2 boats I have been on, and can accomodate about 12 people comfortably, and they have made exceptions in the past for us to take up to 15 people on a trip when we booked the whole boat. The Wildcat has a tri-hull design which means it is a fast and very stable boat. There is not a lot of side to side motion and does not pound the waves like you would find in a single hulled boat. There is lots of deck space, and on a pretty day, you can lay out on the front of the boat after you have caught your limit! We have also been on their smaller 6 person boat (can't remember the name, but it was called ****cat). I don't remember if it was a full catamaran, or multi-hull boat, but it was comfortable with lots of deck space as well. They used to run both boats, but now only seem to run the 6 person boat when they don't fill up the Wildcat. Captain Mike is very personable and is glad to answer any questions you have, as well as provide insight into the fishing out of Homer. He'll joke around with you, and tries to make it as enjoyable of a day as possible. An example of this, last year when we went out with them, it was a really rough day out in Kachemak Bay, so we only fished until around noon or 1pm. Instead of heading right back or making everyone fish through it, we quickly caught our limit and then headed into Seldovia to walk around & shop for an hour to let those that were sea-sick get on stable ground before continuing on into Homer, AK. Highly Recommended!! Pros: -Great Customer Service -Fast, Comfortable, Stable Boat -Plenty of Deck Space -Personable Captain & Deck Hand -Always catch lots of fish & can go further out due to the faster boat -Deckhand fillets fish on the way back and then calls Coal Point for pick-up when the boat arrives in the harbor Cons: -None, (sat here for 5 minutes trying to think of a negative & have not thought of a negative experience with them) (I am writing this from my wife's e-mail account as I do not have a gmail e-mail address)
