My in-laws rented from this place and they charged them 850$ for 2 weeks for a 2004 Ford focus. When they could have just rented a car from somewhere else for 150-200$ for 2 weeks. They took advantage of an elderly couple who didn't know any better. Excuse was only car rental in Homer. Will not let anyone I know rent from them again. Complete rip off. We have rented vehicles from Adventure Alaska for the last three years. The vehicles have always been clean and ready to go. The location is easy to find from the airport and returns are very quick. This rental agency is a pleasure to work with. Ron and his employees have made our trips run very smoothly and we highly recommend them. Owner, Trace Carlos is one of the most gracious guys you'll ever meet. He is not only going to rent you a vehicle, but take the time to make sure you have everything you need for your Alaska adventure. I highly recommend renting from Adventure Alaska Car Rental... two thumbs way up! While on our vacation in Homer, my husband became ill and needed to be hospitalized for a number of days. Our traveling companions needed to get back to Anchorage for their flight so they took the rental car we all came in. I needed a basic car to get back and forth from the hospital. I rented from Alaskan Adventures and Trace was very helpful. He even gave me a discount because this wasn't exactly a "pleasure" rental. He gave me an open ended rental contract too. It's not a new car but it gets the job done and the price was right. Thanks Trace!! PRICE GOUGING!!! They wanted $850 to rent a 02 Ford Focus, for 2 weeks. We rented a 09 impala from enterprise for $158 for the same 2 weeks. Needs to be reported to the BBB. NEVER GO HERE, you are better off buying a car local!
