The showers are great and clean, the staff are pretty rude. I came here regularly and asked them out of curiosity when the increased rate of wash would go down and the woman snapped at me and said, "did you read this?", pointing at the explanation below. I said, yes, I had but thought it was a temporary increase in price. (The answer was that it's never going down, it's probably going to go up from $5.00 a load). I then asked since I had been coming regularly (once a week for the past 3 months) if I could get a couple of punches on the punch card, I had been forgetting to bring it in. I have seen her several times and she would only do a punch for that day. Not the biggest deal, but her attitude about it is what got to me. They refuse to let you bring the carts outside to unload clothes in your vehicle also. That I also get, but point is the ladies are super abrasive about everything and generally rude. I'm going to be going to Red Door laundry or Cheeky Moose from now on. The place is clean and somewhat well maintained. It has to be hard to stay on top of everything during the summer season. Super clean and nice showers. Nothing better after a week of camping. Very friendly staff. Washer and dryers are great here they dry my clothes! Just what you want when traveling. Fast and clean washers and dryers. At least 35 washers and about the same number of dryers. A good surprise in Homer. Free wifi with no password hassle, good music mix and espresso inside. Machines take quarters. ATM and change machine worked good.
