This is a very unique winery they have some fully Alaskan wine made from local berries and they offer great tastings. The property is beautiful. They have a garden and horseshoes and flowers everywhere and a koi pond. The owners are so nice and they let us try some salmon fresh from their smoker. It was such a fun experience. They also have accommodation that I'm sure is fantastic. If you're looking for a winery to visit in Homer then you'll want to visit Bear Creek Winery. Bear Creek Winery offers tours, so call ahead to find out when and if available. There is plenty of parking, but large RVs may experience issues with clearance during peak visiting hours. There are restrooms, a gift shop, and a tasting bar. There is a maximum on tastes per person; it's the law, so don't give them to much grief. Prioritize the tastes and make sure you buy the seasonal wines there. Not all their wine can be purchased at liquor stores. Excellent and exceptional wines! Hands down a must try for anyone in the area. Check out the seasonal along with the mixed berry. You won't be disappointed Very fun to try the $5 wine tasting and get $5 off your first bottle! I went to do a tasting of the different wines and it was amazing! The woman who let me sample different wines was fantastic and knew what she was talking about. Her friendly service and knowledge helped me to buy a bottle of pomegranate for later. Absolutely perfect experience.
