The crew was so awesome and so helpful! The fishing was great they put us on the halibut right away! Definitely will be back! This was a great experience. Our Captain, Jordan, was fun. Put us on fish all day. Pictures say it all, we will request him again...hmm pictures missing trust me he is worth every 100.00 bill We took our dream fish trip for halibut in Homer Alaska. It was an incredible experience that made our dreams come true. We went out on a 6 hour trip and all 3 in our party had our fish quota in the first 4 hours. The rest of the time we enjoyed the ride, view of the coast line and the professionalism of the Captain and crew. Boats were clean and very well maintained. JR the Captain and crew were great and we're really helpful. They did everything to help us as we never fished before. They taught us a lot. We only booked a half day, but they stayed out until everyone on the boat caught their limit. Will definitely use them again. Look for them when you go to Homer. We used them again in 2017. An excellent experience. Clean boat, professional and friendly crew, lots of fish. A must go and must stop by place for any tourist in Homer. I went out on a good series of trips onboard the Irish with a desire for halibut, and every time I came here with my family I always had a great time. Captain JR and Deckhands Chelsey and Casey are very nice and provide critically important and useful tips on board while fishing. The first fishing spot that they go to tends to be quite slow, but is also supposedly where the halibut behemoths lurk. Then things get quite fun as they go a spot where a bunch of halibut are and everybody usually hits the regulation limit for catching halibut. Also, the boat is well maintained and clean, especially for a fishing boat that goes out very frequently. Overall a great experience for anyone interested in halibut fishing.
