We loved staying here. Unfortunately, we came down this weekend and found it boarded with "closed" on the front window. Sad to see it not open this summer (2017). Do not i repeat DO NOT Stay at this RV park They are only looking for the couple older folk with an RV. We had out whole family with 2 spaces rented and were treated like crap. Paid upfront for a week so we couldn't leave unless we wanted to spend more money. Got hassled over parking a boat with the truck and camper. We were asked to not have the boat on the lot what so ever. Stupid considering it fit in the space. I mean you go to Homer to do these things and have fun not get hassled the whole time the View is nice but thats about it I recommend staying out on the spit so much better and nicer plus they know you are there for a good vacation and a good time Place is closed. We sent email reservation and never got return info. Drove up to it and it had closed sign in window. I tented at Ocean View for over two weeks when I first moved to Homer and didn't have a place to live yet. The view and location were fantastic, the service was excellent and welcoming, and the facilities were clean. I preferred to be away from wind and traffic on the spit for camping in Homer, so I found Ocean View to be the best option. We were treated very rudely by who I assume was the owner. He told us that our previous reservation didn't exist, even after we showed him where we are called several times and called him previously that morning. Not impressed with the service, and would not return.
