The room was a bit rustic but cozy, certainly high quality for Alaska standards. The host was extremely friendly, and made a great breakfast. Would stay here again if we came back to this town. Good views, however it's not quite as clear as the main road before you turn off for the b&b. Majestic View Bed & Breakfast is an absolute gem. I traveled up to Homer from Arizona for a week of fun in Alaska and couldn't have found a better spot to stay. Maria and Tim were great hosts, there was an excellent spread for breakfast and the room my family and I stayed in was clean and comfortable. There is also solid Wifi should you need it. Tim guided us on both a scenic wildlife tour of the Bay, and a fishing tour where we caught almost a dozen Salmon! We were also able to view sea otters, many species of birds, harbor seals, moose, and even a humpback whale. These two are very knowledgeable of the area and I would highly recommend a visit! My family stayed in the blueberry room for two nights. This place definitely lives up to the name. The accommodations are very comfortable and we got our own bathroom. Breakfast was a wonderful spread of pancakes, muffins, cereal, eggs, bacon....the list goes on. Maria and Tim do a fantastic job of making you feel at home. They are there as much, or as little as you need them to be. I would recommend this place to anyone. Spend 2 nights here and I absolutely love it. Maria the owner is very nice and welcoming. The view from the rose room is a must see. Overall stay is A++! Room was dirty, great view
