Got hooked up with some tackle and the guy was really friendly and helpful We stay at the Sport Shed every year when we go down to Homer for our halibut fishing trip. It's clean and comfortable, the people are very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for fancy, you should go elsewhere, but if you are looking for clean, comfortable, convenient and not too terribly expensive, this is definitely the place. They only have 3 rooms, so you'll want to make a reservation. They have all the gear you need for your fishing charter.
