Eric and Kirsten were so professional and detailed. Both are excellent communicators and paint a picture of what to expect and how bears use body language to let you know what their thinking. Eric was our pilot on 8/10. We met promptly and met two other couples for our adventure. After a meet and greet session and a safety overview, we loaded into the heli. It was a short 40 min flight over to Clark NP and we were watching multiple bears before we even landed. At one point, we counted 24 bears in our 360 degree view. It was an awesome experience and one I will never forget. Eric's experience and understanding of the wildlife removed any apprehension any of us may have had. I would highly recommend this service as the helicopter can locate the bears and then sit down closely to ensure you get what you paid for. With Eric and Kirsten, you definitely get your money worth and then some. Loved it and will do it again our next trip! Our bear viewing trip with Eric and Kristen (the pilots/guides/owners) was truly unforgettable. First off, Eric and Kristen are extremely friendly, professional people, and insisted on making sure we had a great time. They're very knowledgeable about the bear habitat and their behaviors, and focus on getting close to them without disturbing them. We probably saw around 30 bears on our trip, about 10 of them close or very close. At no point did I feel unsafe, as Eric and Kristen are very experienced at reading the animals' body language and making sure we didn't disturb them. It was a unique experience, because you are right in the bears habitat, moving around with them. If you are looking to do something like this, you should go with Alaska Ultimate Safari, no other company could be better than with Eric and Kristen. This experience was easily one of the coolest things I've ever done in my life, and would recommend it to anyone. This was the best part of our 17-day anniversary trip to Alaska. Kirsten and Eric are the best! Kirsten flew us in the awesome red helicopter to Lake Clark National Park. On the way there she pointed out the volcanoes and glaciers and almost as soon as we saw the grass, we saw bears. Lots of bears. We landed near the bears and walked just a short distance to take some great pics. We got to see some a mother bear and spring cubs, it was great. We also saw eagles, other birds, wildflowers, seals (seal island) and other stuff I'm forgetting. Alaska Ultimate Safaris is the best. Incredible day with Eric viewing bears at Lake Clark Alaska. Stunning scenery and thrills viewing brown bears along the shoreline of Chinitna Bay. Trip across Cook Inlet via helicopter was comfortable and informative. Great experience. A must do! This is the most amazing helicopter adventure you could go on! Eric and Kirsten are top notch hosts at making sure you get to see all Alaska has to offer and not to mention they're super cool and fun!
