Upgrade your experience in Homer with a stay at the Cozy Cove Inn. Marcella is the hostess and she couldn't be easier to be around. In addition, she has a wealth of knowledge about the area. We are staying in the Forget-me-not room that has an adjoining jacuzzi tub and separate shower room, with a third room with sinks and toiletries. You almost don't need to bring your own since she has provided a large selection of high end options. The bed has an ultra comfortable tempurpedic mattress that is huge for me with my low back pain. I slept soundly on her bed. Then there are her wonderful breakfasts with local ingredients as much as possible. The food keeps on coming. We were not able to eat lunch during our entire stay. No worries. Our appetites were back in time to take advantage of all the great dinner choices in Homer. My wife and I have stayed in a lot of B and B's. Hers is second to none. Best bed and breakfast ever!! A truly wonderful experience!! I have travelled extensively and Cozy Cove Inn was one of the best places I have ever stayed; warm, inviting, comfortable, coupled with the most delicious breakfast. Cozy Cove B&B Homer Plan to stay for three nights What an amazing find! We only stayed for two nights which is not long enough! Marcella has done a fantastic job decorating and making you feel so very much at home. As you step in the front door you immediately feel at ease, and very satisfied with the choice that has been made in selecting this B&B. We stayed in the Forget Me Not room which was located downstairs off the main lounge area. It had an enormous bedroom with excellent storage and probably the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Off the bedroom was a spa and shower room which led through to a lovely double basin bathroom area. Beautiful toiletries, body wash, shampoo, body lotions and a lovely assortment of towels. Marcella prepared a lovely breakfast for us each morning which included fruit and yoghurt and a cooked component. I was particularly taken with her buckwheat and oat pancakes and selections of syrups. Cozy Cove is situated an easy drive, about ten minutes, above of the main township, where the hills meet the clouds. Homer is a good four hour drive from Anchorage and you need to allow most of a day to get there. It is for this reason I would strongly suggest that you stay three nights giving two full days to enjoy the range of activities that Homer has to offer. Cozy Cove is a must! If you are looking for a comfortable,relaxing, close to town but remote place - book your stay now!!! Don't miss out - we were overwhelmed with hospitality and comfort. Marcella is awesome and informative about her town. She is also a great cook and was conscious of my daughter's dietary restrictions. We look forward to our next stay with here!! Beautiful house and super organized / helpful host. This was my first Airbnb rental and it was perfect. Appliances were top notch, especially the coffee maker and toaster. Host provided banana bread and some terrific homemade rhubarb jam.
