Very good fresh halibut. Fries were probably my favorite--crispy. We had the deep fried halibut, halibut burger, salmon dip with crackers, and polar bear silk pie. Flavor didn't POP for me so that's why I only gave it a 4 star. Service is pretty good and the Oceanside view is great. Prices are decent compared to the other restaurants on homer spit. I went with my family and we had a very pleasant time. The service was excellent and our waitress brought out some salmon dip for us to try. She also let us try some sushi that they make fresh there. She also recommended some local hikes and was super helpful. The view over the water is so nice at sunset and the food is high quality. Make reservations though cause it gets very crowded. The view is exceptional, the service is superb, the price is about average for an up-scale Alaskan restaurant. The food is fantastic! The owner works very hard to see that you are happy with the whole experience. Great food. Excellent views of the bay. Have fresh seafood for sale and carry out. Wait staff friendly and helpful. Nice for couples and families. Some of the best seafood we have encountered, the halibut fish and chips was the absolute best I have ever had. Service was excellent as well. All fare was local fresh caught, they also offer fantastic dinner specials.
