Our full day charter tour of Kachemak Bay with Glenn Seaman was fabulous. Glenn has decades of marine biology experience, is passionate about the area and is very knowledgeable on locale culture/history. Glenn will tailor each trip for exactly what you want to focus on. Perfect small boat can get up close and personal to what you want to see. See pictures for some of the seals, otters, eagles, gulls, puffins, cormorants, black turnstone, mountains, glaciers we enjoyed on May 15, 2017. Keep in mind charter boat pricing is for the whole boat and not per person. Glenn's half day charter for just my wife and I was essentially the same we paid two days earlier for a four-hour rafting trip on a per-person basis. Seaman's Adventures is a great tour company. The guide, Glenn, is a biologist so you learn everything about the Alaskan ecosystem. This is fun, and educational which is what I like on vacation. We saw bald eagles, tons of sea otters, infinite shore birds and gulls, and got to explore local tidepools. It was birding heaven! Hiking across the bay from Homer was a once in a lifetime experience. The trails are spectacular!! The views are even better. This was my best day touring in Alaska. I can't say enough great things about Seaman's Adventures! Had a great time. Glenn's knowledge of wildlife and the entire bay's eco system is amazing. He also takes time to understand what you want to do and see, from otters to whales and sea lions Glenn has the knowledge and experience to take you there. What a great Alaskan adventure!
